This past year alone, the HSAN has:
- Launched a high profile, 26 city bus tour around Hip-Hop Team Vote’s youth Get Out The Vote (GOTV) education campaign in conjunction with the 2004 Presidential election
- Produced in conjunction with Chrysler Financial and Anheuser-Busch, Inc. a highly successful series of Hip-Hop Summits on Financial Empowerment, which included Summits in Detroit, Washington, DC, St Louis, New Orleans, Miami, Los Angeles, Kansas City, and Maryland.
- Produced The 2nd New Jersey Hip-Hop Summit, which furthered a newly established model created by HSAN and the New Jersey Attorney General’s office at last year’s New Jersey Summit, featuring webcasting and video linking the event to over 800,000 young people throughout the state.
